Washington, DC 20004
The U.S. Court of Federal Claims Bar Association is pleased to announce a Brown Bag luncheon program featuring a wide-ranging discussion of the impact that the line of Spent Nuclear Fuel cases has had on the Court’s damages jurisprudence, and how these cases may impact breach of contract cases in the future. Please join our panelists, Chris Carney, of the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Division and Brad Fagg of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, for a discussion that will touch a number of topics, including recovery of future damages in cases of an ongoing, partial breach; duties of mitigation, and basic issues of causation, foreseeability, and burdens of proof.
Please register for this program in advance so that we may have an accurate headcount. The Bar Association will furnish beverages for lunch, and you are encouraged to bring your own brown bag lunch to enjoy during the discussion.
