Please hold April 1 open and join us for another superlative Brown Bag program, sponsored by the U.S. Court of Federal Claims Bar Association. This is a great way to learn from a variety of perspectives the differences in practice and consideration that one makes in litigating claims and bid protests. Panelists include: Judge Mary Ellen Coster Williams of the Court of Federal Claims; Judge Jack Delman from the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals; Kenneth D. Woodrow from the United States Department of Justice, Civil Division, Commercial Litigation Branch; and Joshua Drewitz, Associate General Counsel, for Textron Inc. Leading the panel as moderator/panelist will be Michael J. Schaengold, Shareholder and Global Co-Chair, Government Contracts & Projects Practice of Greenberg Traurig, LLP. Mr. Schaengold has co-authored “Choice of Forum for Government Contract Claims: Court of Federal Claims vs. Board of Contract Appeals” published in 2008 in The Federal Circuit Bar Journal and “Choice of Forum for Federal Government Contract Bid Protests” published in 2009 in The Federal Circuit Bar Journal. Versions of both articles were also published by the Briefing Papers (Thomson Reuters). This event will be hosted by James Y. Boland of Venable, LLP’s Government Contracts Group, at their offices located at 575 7th Street, NW, Washington, DC.
