U.S. Court of Federal Claims
Washington, DC
The United States Court of Federal Claims and the United States Court of Federal Claims Bar Association are pleased to announce their next joint educational program: “Meet the Office of Special Masters,” a brown bag lunch program that will take place on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. EDT, in Courtroom 4 of the National Courts Building.
For the first time, members of the Bar Association who are not in Washington, DC are invited to participate in the program via either videoconference or webcast, depending upon location. The Court and the Bar Association are partnering with the Federal Judicial Center and two law schools to offer this program: the Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law and the Chicago-Kent College of Law. Bar members located near Tempe, AZ or Chicago, IL are cordially invited to visit these law schools to participate in the program via teleconference. Individuals located elsewhere will be able to view the program via webcast.
Please save the date to participate in this groundbreaking event, designed to introduce the Court’s two newest special masters and the Office of Special Masters as a whole, to showcase the Court’s technological capabilities for nationwide electronic communications, and to provide a timely update regarding issues facing the Court. More information about registering and viewing this brown bag lunch program will be provided by approximately the second week of June.
