This year, the Bar Association is pleased to be continuing its transition to in-person events. Look for announcements about Law Day in May and the Bar Association’s annual Judicial Conference in October. At the same time, we will be looking for opportunities to continue the successful use of on-line programming to expand the Bar Association’s reach and facilitate greater participation by its national membership. Please visit the Bar Association’s webpage and check your email inbox for our Newsletter and updates on upcoming events. If you are a new member of the bar, keep an eye out for events, including happy hours, by the Young Lawyer’s Division. And whether you are a long-time member of the Bar Association, or are handling your first case at the Court, I encourage you to find time to participate in bar association events.
We have many opportunities and would love to hear from you if you are interested in getting more involved. Now, as we emerge from Covid, participation in the Bar Association can help you reconnect with peers, foster the Court’s mission, and thrive professionally and personally. I hope to see you.
Whether you are a long-time member of the Bar Association, or are handling your first case at the Court, I invite you to participate in bar association events. Attend upcoming programs, read our Newsletter to find out what's happening at the Court, and join any of our social activities. And, if you are interested in getting more involved, we have many opportunities to do so. Now, more than ever, participation in the Bar Association can help you thrive professionally and personally, to the ultimate benefit of the Court and all those who appear before it.
